“CFP”, as recognized by the worldwide Financial Planning Standards Board.

Qualifications exams
Being
a certified CFP is not the easiest thing to do. Candidates must meet
educational requirements and pass a nationwide test (in the U.S.) These tests,

There
are four categories that candidates must meet: education, examination,
experience and ethics.
In
education, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any

which follows the CFP Board Certification Examination.
More requirements
After
the candidate passes the exams and meets one or more of the primary elements of
financial planning, she/he must also have completed a 3-year full-time (or
equivalent 2000 hours per year of part-time experience in the financial
planning field.
In
addition, there will be 2 years of full-time experience in the “Apprenticeship
Experience” option which requires experience focused fully on personal delivery
of all the steps of the personal financial process to a client under direct
supervision of a CFP professional.
After
which, he/she will be approved by the Collin County CFP board during initial certification
which involves an extensive background check which includes an ethics,
character and criminal check. This is after the candidate had demonstrated the
experiences gained in the financial planning field.

Your planner
is your partner. He can also arrange and make your plans and goals a reality.
You will also become a student when he discusses to you how much you need to
save, which accounts you need like retirement trust, debt and mortgage loans
and others.
